Jerusalem artist Zeesi trained and works as a textile designer in New York before making aliyah. The Illuminations from Jerusalem design collection reflects this with lush floral and decorative patterns intertwined with images of jewish life. The exquisite collection of illuminated sacred jewish blessings draws inspiration from the colors and textures of the land of Israel. This love of color and pattern continues to blossom in her surface pattern design collection as well. Here is the link to Zeesi Design Garden, original surface pattern designs for home decor, gifts and fabric.
Zeesi received extensive classical fine art training in watercolor painting and drawing from the Silvermine College of Art, in New Canaan Connecticut, the Art Student’s League in NYC and received her degree in textile design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, also in NYC. She continues to work on commissions creating textile designs for numerous markets. Zeesi’s designs for textile covered gift accessories with coordinated cards and gift wrap can be found in museum gift shops.
Zeesi and her husband, creative photographer Yiftach Paltrowitz, offer a variety of things under one roof, from ketubot, invitation & bencher collections, to photo montage albums to gifts for all those special people that are part of your life.
